Erik has over 10 years of experience in field audio on location and 20 years of engineering for music on location and in recording studios. Based in Chicago, he adapts to various environments, from buttoned-up office affairs in downtown skyscrapers to harrowing news documentaries and gritty reality shows.
Great sound is achieved by employing well-honed industry best practices and staying up to date with the best gear available today. Erik is comfortable working with fast-paced and complicated reality productions, making it happen on the fly. No matter what the content, the message always sounds clear.
Erik has experience as a sound supervisor, responsible for multiple crews, mic’ing up large numbers of coaches and athletes, evening gowns and jackets, wedding dresses and bowties, and booming everything when time is limited.
